NET recognizes the need for intervention at every step in the growth of addiction.  Our multi level treatment programs offer recovering individuals the chance to start over and develop a chemical free lifestyle.

 

 

Bridge Street Counseling Center

Administers a full range of outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) plus continuing care for over 200 adults and adolescents, in day and evening programs.  Specialized services include therapeutic programs for women, adolescents and families.  HIV testing and counseling are also available.  NET STEPS, a new pharmacotherapy program is designed for clients who are opioid addicted by utilizing Medication Assisted Treatment.  In case of a Methadone emergency medical providers can contact our emergency pager system at 215-212-4904.

Spring Garden Counseling Center

Provides comprehensive assessment, treatment, and aftercare services for clients with chemical dependency and related issues, including coexisting mental health difficulties.  Case management services help clients with complex needs obtain access to allied health and social service resources.  Bilingual staff available.

 

The Wharton Center

Delivers residential drug treatment for up to 30 men aged 18 to 45 in the Philadelphia area.  Abstinence and relapse prevention programs include individual/group/family therapy, social and recreational activities, vocational and educational development.  Medical, legal and psychological support services are available, as well as additional clinical services for residents who are experiencing mild to moderate co-occurring mental health difficulties.

Ambulatory Medical Stabilization

Offers outpatient detoxification services to chemically dependent patients who have residential support and do not present with life threatening withdrawal symptoms or medical complications.  Available at Spring Garden Counseling Center and Kirkwood Detoxification Center sites. 

 

Kirkwood Detoxification Center

Provides addictions assessment and medically monitored detoxification to men and women in the Wilmington, Delaware area.  Twenty four hour nursing and counseling staff provide initial abstinence counseling and referral for follow-up care.

 

Adolescent Programs

 

Offers extensive assessment to identify substance abuse or addiction, and begin addressing the distinctive needs of chemically dependent adolescents.  This population requires a special approach, with a mixture of individual, group and family sessions.  Keeping the individual in the least restrictive environment with minimal disruption to family and school life is a priority.
